Santa’s First Responder Challenge

This Christmas Time, Santa has asked us to say a BIG THANK YOU to the First Responders among us in a special way.
 1
As you know, 2017 has seen more than its share of heartbreaking tragedies – hurricanes, floods, mass shootings, terrorist attacks, and more.  But no matter how difficult or dangerous the circumstances became, these First Responders were there charging head-first into harm’s way to rescue and respond with help and care.
During the month of December, every swimmer who participates in any of the program offerings of iSwim 1-2-1 will have a unique opportunity to bless those First Responders among us who bless us every day.
Per Santa’s request, each session during the month of December will be discounted by $25, and that $25 can be used to do something special for local First Responders.

Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, and other rescuers are the true heroes in life, and we want to thank them for everything they do for us.
Be as creative as you’d like in your gift giving.  It can be a random act, such as giving a gift card to a police officer you see at the gas station, or offering to buy lunch for an EMS crew you may see at a local restaurant, or stopping by a local fire station to deliver cookies and coffee.  Any way you want to say thank you to this special group of people would be great.

We would love to see this outreach spread beyond just our local area, so we are asking that the swimmers let us know what they end up deciding to do with their $25.
We will then spread the word via the iSwim 1-2-1 Instagram page (to over 7,000 followers) to give swimmers around the country and world ideas about how they too can bless the First Responders in their area.
Just send us a quick email with a description of your outreach, and if you would like to include a photo as well, that would be great!
IDEAS:
Drop off cookies and coffee at a local fire station
Buy lunch for an EMS crew that you may see at a restaurant
Give a gift card to a police officer who you may see at a local gas station
Stuff $25 of cash in a Christmas card and keep it with you and give it to the first First Responder you see
Be creative, have fun!
Thank you, everyone!
